ADHD screening information for educational psychologists.
ADHDassess records questionnaire findings, developmental information and reported impact. An educational psychologist can consider the report alongside their own work on learning, cognition and educational need.
Where it fits
Your assessment addresses learning, cognition and the educational picture. An ADHDassess report contributes structured ADHD screening information from home and, where supplied, school. It can also include configured measures relating to other areas of functioning. Each source and measure remains labelled so that it can be considered on its own terms.
What the report contains
- Parent and, where possible, teacher ratings on the configured paediatric instruments, with documented scoring.
- A structured developmental history captured at intake.
- Clearly labelled information about relevant areas of functioning where included in the pathway.
- A reviewed summary that explains the findings and limitations without making a diagnosis.
Clear boundaries
ADHDassess is a screening service, not a diagnostic assessment, and it is explicit that it sits alongside, never in place of, an educational psychologist’s assessment or a statutory EHCP process. The framing throughout protects the integrity of your role.
